A little something about us
Diane (Di) and Eric are rolling up on retirement; Eric retired a 10 years ago, Di is loving work too much but easing into retirement starting…who the heck knows.
2025 brought huge changes to their lives. In December of 2024 We bought a Mercedes 144 Sprinter van. We spent a year so far getting it where they want it; it has changed our lives immeasurably.
Even better is we hit TWENTY FIVE, years of marriage. Ups and downs like everyone, but so happy with a solid love and some amazing Kids. That’s what makes our travels special; it’s Our Time. Chilo, our Sidekick
Di and Eric got a new traveling companion, Chilo from OC Pet Care and he fit right in. Originally he was named “So So” from the pound. Nope. Chilo it is!
We’re still learning about him but he absolutely loves to travel. He’s an older boy, but energetic. From day one when being picked up from Pup Jail he hopped right into the front seat of Pantera.
We look forward to more happy travels with our little Guy! Say “Hi” if you see him on the trails!

Our little Diesel
This little traveller has a nice story. Diane and I were at the RV wash spraying off our solar panels they day before we left for Anza Borrego State Park for a few days. I was on top of the wash catwalk, calling to Diane to switch from SOAP to RINSE.
Yelled again. Nothing. Finally, she comes around the front of Pantera the Sprinter, holding TWO kittens. Tiny. Diesel and an all black sibling. Di wanted Diesel immediately; a Chola (gangster) girl in the wash spot next to us, adopted the black one.
She has been adapting to travel life well, though she terrorizes Chilo our pup. He is a very good boy though and is SO good with her.
